Satisfied to see You glorified!

So I read a comment or question on social media, how do I glorify God. Tribe brothers and sisters, in so many ways and in the most meticulous ways.

Let’s just focus on the outward part today, our dressing. How does our dressing glorify God. The Bible admonishes in 1 Peter 1:16 - Be Holy for I am Holy, so there is a never a 21st century order of Holiness. There is only one standard for holiness and that is as our God is Holy.

Even though this is a talk amongst us girls, Modesty doesn’t leave the boys out. The moment the focus is on building your four or six pack and posting pictures without shirts on social media is tickling your fancy. It is becoming problem.

And for us girls, the moment a 10 year old is so conscious of her body shape and wears clothes that will show her curves, it is becoming an issue. It doesn’t have to be skin tight before we know you are well defined, we have eyes we can see. Let’s show off Jesus and not our bodies.

The other day I was helping a teenage girl get her measurements down to make a dress. So I asked her how long will she like for her skirt, she put her hand saying right here above the knee. Well I said No, your skirt should not be that short, I will make it a little longer than your knee, Tell your mom I said so. That look on her face like whatever, do what you have to do and let me gerrarahere.

It’s hard work, I know. In times like this, these types of dressing gets the most attention, the most likes and highest number of views. But stop, don’t fall for the deceit of the enemy because your are precious and your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who lives in you, worthy to be honored. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

May we receive grace to see Him glorified even in our outward appearances. Amen!
