What a girl can do, the boy will do better

I was having a conversation with my friend whom we attended a boarding house secondary (high) school for girls. We reminisced on how we were forced to do chores such as cleaning, weeding, grass cutting etc. We shared memories of how we had a competition with other hostels to see who had the cleanest lawn, cleanest bathrooms. We concluded that with such training on taking responsibility no lady should have a failed marriage.

Sadly, we placed the huge responsibility of making a marriage work only on the woman and on house keeping. Who said men should not be trained on house chores as well?
Growing up I lived with about seven boys and I am confident that keeping these rules will make you less annoying (all things being equal), as we all try to live with one another.
Here are some rules that could help.
Bathroom rules
Clean up after use, like real cleaning up.
Wash your hands after using the restroom— it doesn’t matter if it was just a pee.
Kitchen rules
Learn to make simple meals
Ask if you can be of help when anyone is cooking
Don’t leave a dirty plate in the sink, especially when you meet a clean sink
Don’t eat up everything in a container or box and still leave the box in there, Trash the empty box
Always ask if anyone is interested before eating up the last bit of anything.
Room rules
Lay your bed, remember as you lay your bed so you lie on it.
Every item should have its place, eg- shoe place , socks place etc
Dirty plates should not sleep with you in the room , simply saying clean up your room
In my opinion , there should be no chores solely for a girl or even for the boy. eg It’s the girls job to clean the dishes or it is the boys responsibility to clean the car
Everyone should be able to clean up the home.
Also remember to always say Please, Thank you and Sorry.
